Wanted: Begginer Bike Cheap

I'm looking for an old XR preferably 250/350 or maybe a KLX 300 if they make old KLX's. It' s for the girl friend to learn on. I was going to get her a CR80 because it is the right size for her but then none of my friends could ride it. Something that still runs or close to it for about a 1-2 thousand.

Hi I am new to this form stuff so do not know if you will get it or not ??? I have a xr200 motor in a CR 125 frame, it is a great learning bike.. mellow power with all the modern components ( discs brakes, upside down forks etc..) both my daughter, loved this bike to get started on.....

Yeah that would be cool!! I'm not looking to spend alot, do you have a price and some pics you could send or post. What year of CR and year of xr motor?

It wasn't too cheap but I got one. I bought a little red pig and 01 XR250R. Lots of fun I was riding it in the snow yesterday. It needs more yank!
