Rocky Mountain Dirt Riders

Here is just one of the folks having fun building the Dirty Moose race course. You have to look closely to see the hand saw at work in there.

Some of the trails need a little more TLC (aka chain saw action) so we'll be asking for volunteers to help with chainsawing some trails. Usually we create teams of 3 people, 1 with chain saw and 2 folks to throw the cut logs out of the way (one 2 stroke in the mix for chain saw fuel) .

We'll be asking for volunteers in the next 1-3 weeks for specific tasks. Currently there is one chain saw task for one team to work on.

Please post if you are interested in helping out.

Maybe it's comments like this that prevent me from joining... =)

Edited. Because the powers at be didn't like my comment about some of it's members.

As for membership dues being worked off, I'm sure the RMDRA would be ecstatic if everybody would volunteer and put forth blood and sweat to help, rather than pay $40 and expect things to happen.

If you have a group headed out this Sunday, I believe I am available. Chainsaw and 2T included.
