Re: VOLUNTEERS FOR DIRTY MOOSE
I can help de-flag on Monday. On Sunday, if you need additional sweepers I can come out, and if you don't maybe I'll get in a start line for a recreational effort.

Re: VOLUNTEERS FOR DIRTY MOOSE
I am available to help out if bodies are still needed. I could probably help Friday and/or Saturday. I need some seat time!

Re: VOLUNTEERS FOR DIRTY MOOSE
Sweepers will be sent out once most of the race is complete and they should be prepared to de-flag while they do a lap (so please bring a backpack or shopping bags for the ribbon). I expect most participants will be clear of the trail by this point, however the ones that remain will probably need help like fuel or broken bike towing. Sweepers need to be strong riders as they will be the last ones on the course. There will be no sweepers helping participants finish the race like in the past. This is too draining for the sweepers. The sweepers will direct the riders to the nearest road to return on if they have not finished by the time the sweepers go around.

It'll be the first since mid-August 2010. I've even lost "club" rider status.steve-o wrote:finally a riding apperance?crazy2wheeler wrote:I can help de-flag on Monday. Looks like my weekend is likely free.
I no longer have a bike so can't sweep or deflag, but if there is anything else that requires help let me know. (or if somebody wants to lend me their bike..... )

Its in limbo waiting full exhaust...
If all goes to plan I'd also like to save it some abuse =) I might be relying on that bike for... 20-30,000+ km's yet. I'll see though.
Probably just drive out with pooch in tow. Might bring my camera and see if I can get some pictures. Problem is I don't know the route and don't know Wiaprous single track at all.

Re: VOLUNTEERS FOR DIRTY MOOSE
I would like to come out Monday and deflag if needed. I will bring Tony (DADRIDES). What time will the deflaggers head out?
Where should we meet up?

Re: VOLUNTEERS FOR DIRTY MOOSE
Course was all deflagged on Sunday, as we swept the course.
Had to tow two bikes out, fortunately they were both close to quad trails and roads.
We found a KTM radiator on the trail, but couldn't find a bike to go with it?
