Barcode or #'s?
Barcode or #'s?
I was wondering if the hs next week uses the barcode score keeping format. If so is it necessary to number my bike? Also is there any info the the weekends events? Sat schedule, Sun schedule with times? I cant find information anywhere. Thanks

OK, that helps.
Any more info for a new racer? I am very familiar with McLean is it mostly single track? Is the race a loop? How long? Will gas be an issue? What is a parade lap?
Thanks

Yes, likely 2 times for you, maybe 3 depending on your skill level, or maybe 4 if you are a pro.

we will be using the scanner system but it is always nice to have a number on your bike in the proper color so that others in your class do not run you over thinking you are just another lonely vet junior lost and looking for some speed.

Re: Barcode or #'s?
So using the scanner system then, numbering our bikes is not required?

Re: Barcode or #'s?
Shane,
Number your bike. It sucks to not know who is racing near you. Without a #, many riders will block you from passing thinking you are in their class.
With no number, you will be asked by many riders after the race to number your bike. Its bad enough with guys keeping #'s and colors from previous class that have moved up, they are encouraged to get with the program.
In summary...# your bike

Hey-I resemble that remark! This hardly applies to you thirtyseven with 3-4 finishes in your last two races.Dobi wrote:Carter wrote:thanks
