Motocross is held on a closed course track, this is held in mother nature that takes decades to repair itself, not by a caterpillar like an mx track. They made the right decision.

For sure the right call, I drove out that morning and it was raining too hard to race. We would have dug up the trails way more than we should have. The goal of our club is to tread as lightly as we can. Definitely the right call.

Go easy on Dave. He was just making fun of me for my harassment of his moto past. Don't worry though, he's seen the light and reformed himself.

With respect to the race being postponed. Definitely the right call. A few of us went out today to remove some ribbons and check the course. It was really wet and it wouldn't have been a fun race, paticularly for the latter classes.

September 26-27 is the new date.

Is this new date official? I have not seen anything on the AMSA site about this.
Is this still going to be a CMRC race or will it just be for fun at this point?

PS: We were out there this weekend and there is a ton of snow and some huge puddles out there now!

The date is official and I am quit sure its still santioned by the CMRC. Still 2 1/2 weeks out, this is alberata maybe it will be in the 30s by the race date.
