SANTA CLAUSE IS COMING
And he may have one or two of these in his sled....
http://osetbikes.com/
I have talked with the distributor in Nelson about getting the smallest model. They are out everywhere right now but should have more by end of November.
the small one is $1100+ tax,
the middle one is $1300 + tax
the big one is $1500 + tax
Shipping to Calgary is around $60.
We may be able to get a bit of a deal on a bulk order. Is anyone interested?

Re: SANTA CLAUSE IS COMING
Wow, thanks for posting. I think this is a much better idea than a 50cc gas bike, which is what I was considering. I wonder if they can ride these anywhere they can ride a bike? If so, I could take them down to the coulee and ride rather than all the way to Maclean!
I may be interested. When were you planning on making an order?

That is awsome!! If only those were around when I was a kid.
Being an electric bike, it may not even need registration. That would be a blast in the skateboard park near my house.
I wonder if there will be a full size version

Re: SANTA CLAUSE IS COMING
I am curious about the registration aspect too...
In BC, they don't register, I may email the Ontario distributor and see what he does, as they do have to license them out EASt....

I've heard that they are introducing registration in BC.Dobi wrote:I am curious about the registration aspect too...

Re: SANTA CLAUSE IS COMING
Hey Dobi,
Did Santa come this year with one of these? If so, how do you like it (or should I say, how does the little one like it!?).
I'm still on the fence, but getting more serious. First step will be to convince the wife...

Re: SANTA CLAUSE IS COMING
decided to hold off until her B-day in May.
Re: SANTA CLAUSE IS COMING
Mini bikes that are quiet that is a good concept.
Re: SANTA CLAUSE IS COMING
Well, my wife is warming up to the idea. If we get it, I'll let you know so you can take a look in person if you like.Dobi wrote:decided to hold off until her B-day in May.
I'm pretty sure that these will be classified the same as a bike and can be used in parks, fields, etc. But I guess only time (and use) will tell. I think it will be like anything, just keep it smart and under the radar so that no one gets pissed off.
The weird thing is that I'm actually more worried about taking these to Mclean, because they won't be registered/insured.

They look super cool and can't offend anyone even in camp. You can always ride in BC....for now that is.
