PUB Night?????

Post by Spinalguy »

We sure had a good riding group towards the end of the Fall riding season.

It would be nice to stay in touch maybe once a month with a pub night.
What do you think???

I like that idea as well - So lets pick a night - like how about the second Thursday of every month? (just picked that day at random)...

Cheers!

That sounds like fun. We should pick a central place also so we're not trying to decide where to go the week before. Friends of mine do the same thing but they have it every week at the same place. It's just a standing date and whoever shows up shows up. That way if one person can't make it one week there's always the next. I think we have enough people we could we could do it weekly...just an idea.

How about the Bass Brothers in Lincoln Park - It's just south of Mt Royal College. It's a decent place, lotsa free parking, easy access from off of Glenmore or Crowchild, and probably doesn't get too crazy busy... I can provide a map for everyone...

Obvious choice is the Trpicanna on 32 AVE SW. The original biker bar, altough it looks like it had a recent renovation.

Fairly easy access, cheap food and adequate parking - Tropicana sounds good to me! (I didn't know it was ever a biker bar, but don't worry, even after the renos a year or 2 back, the place is still a dump!)

I could be enticed for a night at the pub. I usually don't head east of the park gates once winter starts, but hey, beer is a big persuader

he,he,he......

Trudy, your reply has me chuckling. Not once a month but weekly :D
Than, crazy2wheeler goes for every second Thursday. i love it

All is possible.

To start i would like to do a weekend nite like a Saturday so we can enjoy some bevy's and cab it home if needed.
Thursdays can work but some of the other guys i was speaking with wanted it to be a Sat nite when we could sleep in on Sun a.m.

So how about we start with next Sat nite Nov 26th????

Now as we are a diverse group from various locations, lets start a poll (see new thread) on what area of city is the majority winner.

SE
NW
NE.

What about friday nights?? I guess Saturday is ok but if people are winter riding or ice racing you don't want to be hung over. And I imagine I'm not the only one who be up for every week....but that's ok make me sound like the lush.lol
