Feel like going mid week??? Or am I the only one that works 4 on 4 off.... :D

Keep me posted.

I'll probably ski the morning of the 11th, then head back to work. I've heard ER3 and 7, and most of whitehorn is good to go. Should be a decent opening

I think Eagle was gone last year. I for one was pissed as it makes skiing some of my favourite lower front side runs very hard. To access Eagle flight and the associated glades on either side one has to climb up from the gondola terminal or come down the front from Paradise. Either way it is not as easy as doing a few lazy circuits on the Eagle. The upside is that the terrain that was on skiers right of the old Eagle chair holds nice powder lines for a lot longer now.

That's the way to look at it.

So I guess there could be some nice circuits to had but doing the Top of the World and then Paradise, again and again.

I usually like to do the the Summit - Paradise circuit a few times to access the back of the summit. Nice runs in there. :D

Summit-Paradise is the classic circuit and my favourite. Top of the World - Paradise circuits are a little more friendly when visibility is low. Gotta watch coming from the ridge on Paradise to the old Eagle terminus though. Not much base in there and really big rocks!

BellMan skiing? What's that?

I know that I like to avoid the base area at all costs. :D

Maybe you skiers need a separate section on this forum, seeing as there are quite a few of you, and this is a ride report section. JMO

The Paradise/Platter circuit was made popular by the Bell Staff at the Banff Springs Hotel many years ago. Doin's circuits or "Bellman" skiing

I kind of thought that "Ride Reports" covered skiing, boarding, motorcycling but it is under the category "Offroad Motorcycling" so it really doesn't.

I think your idea makes sense.

Do we need a separate ski forum, or does "General" cover it? Give me some feedback here.
