New bike!

Post by ~Pussykat~ »

Well I bought myself a new bike today!

I bought a 2006 CRF230. It's still in the crate so I get to pick it up one evening next week! I figured if Andy got a new bike this year, then I deserved one too! At least I will have somewhat better brakes now for the scary downhills!

I got my wife the same bike in 04, what a fun ride! Having the e-start is a real bonus. She has added the BBR revbox as well as the full exhaust, sounds like an XR600 in the woods. congrats!

I bought my wife the CRF150 this year and after having to kick it over myself so many times to keep her going I am kicking myself for not convincing her to get the 230. :bonk:

What's with the big "Symbolic Sport" ad in many of the recent threads? RMDRA isn't an ebay site!!!

AND... woohoo Samm! Don't run me over - just push me to the side!

Sam,

You should ask Santa for a set of trelliborgs for x-mas so you can come out and ride on the white stuff!!!! :)

Yeah, Andy keeps asking me what I want! Got a Thor chest protector and new gloves and waiting on a shirt so yeah, tyres would work!! Trouble is Andy would keep borrowing my bike then! (IF you read this Andy, remember Diamonds are still a girls best friend!)

Thanks! I have had an abundance of bikes over the years but my last one was a GSX750F, previous to that little 500 ninja. Don't know what I want, just keeping the eyes open for something, really would like a little 350 YPVS yammy, great fun bikes (now I am showing my age!) I am also interested in getting a dual sport too!

Dual sports are great, but the problem with them is you have to be 7' to ride them! Ok, well maybe not, but I am 6'4" and the DRZ-400 I rode had me leaning off the seat to get one foot on the ground!
