Suzuki made these in the '70's, this is a '74 model.

Yea they are. Not as common as a Yamaha TY250 or Honda TL125/250. I rode a TL125 once for a day back in the '70's it was neat but way underpowered. I think I still have a magazine with a test of the Suzuki, I'll have to dig it up.

Do you think that it is kinda weird that RC would get the bike with the Yamaha engine? He could have choosen the Honda engine or the other Spanish or Italian manufacturers. Instead he chose the French manufacturer with the Japanese (Yamaha) Engine?
