Hard armour shorts

Anyone have a recommendation for some hard armour shorts. I am hoping for more hip protection rather than thigh. Thanks in advance.

Leatt makes a set and so does Tld. They may be a mountain bike short but they would definitely work.

Check your riding pants for pockets in the hips. If you have them, you could simply add a 3DO style hip pad and save the bulk and extra heat of an extra layer.
