Offroad riding Apps for phone

Post by brycektm »

Hey guys I just downloaded an app call Rever. Just wondering if anyone uses it and how it works. Also what other apps do you guys use for your trail riding. I would like to use it when I come to alberta so I dont get lost.

That looks like more of an onroad app.

The government of Alberta have a Garmin download with the designated singletrack trails built into it. That would be good to use.

Not updated since 2012, but a great resource for Garmin users.

I like OsmAnd for Android for basic GPS uses. You can easily load your own GPX files and the free basemaps are decent too. It works pretty well for tracking your ride and capturing waypoints too. It works just fine out of cell range.
