Bring Fox Sports Racing to Shaw and Telus cable providers.

Post by Oldmotocrosser »

Many of us know that last March, SPEEDTV was dropped by both Telus and Shaw Cable. What this meant was we no longer have motorcycle racing or any motor racing in Canada; Fox settled on using Fox Sports 1 and Fox Sports 2 to carry the slack of the sports that was carried on SPEED TV. What the cable providers and the networks neglected to note that they dropped the ball and the Motorsports which was carried by SPEEDTV was no longer available in Canada.

There was a lobby to Fox and they soon realized that they neglected to supply a channel for the Motor Sports and FOX SPORTS RACING was started.

This channel carries our beloved Monster Energy Supercross, Arenacross, and Lucas Oil Motocross, as well as many other motor sports including the largest watched NASCAR series. The only cable companies to react to the changes by FOX, was Rogers and Cogeco. These two providers only broadcast in Ontario and Provinces east.

There has been much complaining to Shaw and Telus, and even the newspapers have picked up on it. Direct Motocross has taken the ball and listed how to get FOX SPORTS RACING instructions right on their website.

Here is the link and the instructions:

Please follow the link and follow the instructions and lobby your cable provider to bring Fox Sports Racing to your home.

Also, you will find an article in the Toronto Star in the Automotive section. Here is the link.

There is a Twitter and Facebook link on his article. Share this with all of your friends please, and maybe we will get lucky to see Fox Sports Racing in Western Canada.

Also, here is a good article about what happened when Rogers picked up Fox Sports Racing.
