Laser Cutting

Post by Dakota_c69 »

Looking for a company that does laser cutting, or something similar, that can precision cut 3mm thick cast acrylic.

Try Aaron machine shop. They have a water jet that should be able to cut acrylic without heat distortion.
The voices are back. Awesome!

I have had lots of work done there...great shop.
Their water jet should rip 3mm through acrylic. Should be able to cut 150-200 inches/min or more (if it can move that fast)
Machine goes for ~$180-200/hour if I recall correctly.

If you can make your own .dxf file will be your cheapest option, as it saves you the cost of having them do the drafting.
