Insurance renewal Time...

It is time to renew the insurance. I currently have full coverage for the KTM 450 and it cost me mid-$600 per year. Anyone doing much better than that???

I am running basic plus theft, $180, State Farm.

Nordic Insurance about 375 bucks for 2 bikes. Full coverage on 1 pl/pd on the other

3 bikes, $1100, 570 Berg, 530 Ktm/Christini, WR450, all full coverage street legal, $500 deductible, plus a rider on the Christini for the extra replacement value. Bluecircle and Jevco.

It does seem a little pricey. I have a replacement value rider on the 450, which means if it goes I get a new bike rather than the black book of the bike. I got my company down to 590, but found another place that is $346 for the same coverage without replacement value rider.

My rider for value doesn't seem as steep, then again I've no claims with jevco either, last was with wawanesa on a sportbike and they blacklisted the Busa and gsxr1000 shortly thereafter. Your call as to the value of peace of mind.

The value rider was only $40.... they had a hard time explaining the rest.

Hey!

I am with cooperators in Cochrane, and when I insured my bike it only increased my monthly payment by like 10$ a month (at most) that being said I have my 2013 dodge (full coverage), 2008 dodge (basic), and 91 corolla insured.

We have 4 bikes with 2 kids under 16. They don't care about age or driver's licences.

Bike insurance for general PLPD is approx $100 a bike. Thats without theft, etc.

Its not worth it to have theft on our bikes. 3 years at $600 would pay for most of my bikes.

Best deal i have found.
