Hey everybody just got me a 2012 ktm 250 xc w and I am amped to ride this spring...I met a few of you at the booth at the motorcycle show-my name's Mark. I'm 34 years old.

I've never ridden motorcycles before but always wanted to ride dirtbikes so I thought I'd just jump in. I was thinking about getting some lessons with trevor from blackfoot motorsports.. I wanna get a head start on the season as soon as I can. What else can I do to get set for when I start riding? Are there places where I can learn the basics riding around in doors?

I think I will start with some easy trail rides to get
my sense of balance & control. God I'm jonesing already.

you might want to paruse through the technical forum to learn about set up and jetting for that bike before you hit the trails. congrats.
