Its time to get this bike dirty

Hello All,

I am another newbie from Calgary!! Last fall I bought a 06 CRF450x and have done some maintenance on it throughout the winter. I am now itching to get it out for a rip as i have only taken it up and down my back alley a few times. I am new to riding having only a weekend "learn to ride" coarse under my belt so I have a lot to learn. I am thinking about getting out to the Irricana gravel pit this weekend as I figure it will be a good place to get comfortable on my bike before hitting Mclean Creek.
I also plan to join RMDRA and get to some meetings, however I keep having schedule conflicts with thursday nights. Perhaps next month.

On a side note, how do I get PM working? I want to message 250scott as I worked with him for about two weeks before he left my company without giving me a chance to get his contact info.

If any of you have suggestions on good beginner areas to ride please let me know.

Im not sure how to say this Jon, but you're are demonstrating poor decision making trying to hook up with 250Scott.... , welcome to the forum and good luck with the new bike.
