went offroad on my bonnie and I loved it!

Post by haggis95 »

I ride my Bonnie round Calgary but there's only so many roads with tarmac. Last weekend I went for a blast in BC on my slighty modded for off-road Bonnie - basically uprated suspension adn Metzler Tourances:

Here's a trip report on the Triumphratnet site

There were a few pucker moments on very loose dirt and gravel but I just relaxed and went with the flow.

It was fantastic fun.

Now this 50 year old wants to buy a dual sport or offroad bike and go offroad. Whaddya think go for it, or am I too old?

Go for the off-road bike. The trails here are not very smooth so anything besides a dedicated off-road is a compromise.
