Hi all of my soon to be riding buddies..

Post by Bruce »

Hi All,
I joined at the last club meeting, just thought I'd say hi. I'm riding a WR450. I sold my beloved KTM 2 years ago which now may seem to have been a good thing, as far as finding 'my' bike on a gropup ride! lol
I've been on a bike since I was a kid (with a gap of 15 yrs when I was trying to act more like an adult). I have very little single track experience so I'll put myself on the (beginner-int) steep end of the learning curve for now. Looking forward to meeting some new riding friends! I'm also keen to try a race or two if I can find a way to get the db level down on my bike.

welcome aboard. I look forward to some rides this summer.

The FMF "Q" line of mufflers really helps with the noise or the cheap alternative is the DB Dawg. loss of power is minimal but noise reduction is big.

I wouldn't think that the stock WR would have any issues meeting 96db?

Bruce!

Great to see another blue rider in the club. Seems like its the pumpkin army usually. I have the FMF Q4 on my bike and the sound level is just right, a little bark when you really rod on it but mostly nice and quiet.

Hope to see you out there.

Cheers,

The exhaust on my bike a full DRD replacement and it's too loud! I'm gonna take the can apart on the weekend to see if there's any packing in there. If not... I hope the FMF Q fits the header of my DRD.

Thanx,
Bruce
