Welcome Rescue9,

You came to the right place for riding offroad motorcycles.

There are a number of riders that ride weekdays, however I'm not one of them :(

What do you ride?

Thanks for the welcome,

I ride a Suzuki DRZ 400. It is stock for the moment, but I have an exhaust and sprockets on order.

IT DOESN'T MATTER HOW MANY HOURS YOU PUT IN. IT MATTERS WHAT YOU PUT IN THE HOURS!!!

Absolutely!

It’sYoshimura off road slip on that is USFS approved with a spark arrest. It will not be as quiet as my stock exhaust, but then again my stock system is ultra quiet. They say it will be in around 96-98db. Trust me, I don’t want a loud exhaust system but I would like a little better throttle response and low end punch.

Yes it was. By our conversation on the trail and the forum I thought it was you guys.

The ride was great, maybe a little slick.

Well it is good to meet you. We'll have to hook up for one of those mid-week rides sometime!

I am considering going to Ghost as well, I can't seem to turn down a good riding opportunity! I'll have the same tires as Spinalguy this time though!

So how is the bike now with the new pipe and jetting? Does it pull any harder?

Rescue: The Yosh systems I looked at when I had my DRZ were all insanely loud. Even the WB pipe with the adjustable plates was loud. I found that the aftermarket pipe helped with the throttle response but did little for overall power, it just sounded like there was more. It did however shed some pounds from the boat anchor that is the stock system. After a few months I went back to the stock system and found that I enjoyed the bike more.
