Looking forward to a great season!
Hi,
Great forum!
Thanks to a buddy of mine I am a street rider turned dirt rider.
This is my first year dirt riding and I love it!
I like to ride weekdays, so if there is anyone willing to show a new guy some terrain, let me know.
Spinalguy, was that you riding a KTM 300 Thursday the 9th out at McLean?

04 DRZ 400
Absolutely!
It’sYoshimura off road slip on that is USFS approved with a spark arrest. It will not be as quiet as my stock exhaust, but then again my stock system is ultra quiet. They say it will be in around 96-98db. Trust me, I don’t want a loud exhaust system but I would like a little better throttle response and low end punch.

So how is the bike now with the new pipe and jetting? Does it pull any harder?rescue9 wrote:Absolutely!

Rescue: The Yosh systems I looked at when I had my DRZ were all insanely loud. Even the WB pipe with the adjustable plates was loud. I found that the aftermarket pipe helped with the throttle response but did little for overall power, it just sounded like there was more. It did however shed some pounds from the boat anchor that is the stock system. After a few months I went back to the stock system and found that I enjoyed the bike more.
