Another new rider.

Post by tkring »

Hey I am another new rider. My name is Travis. I live in Nanton. I am good friends with Lloyd Schlosser. That is how I came to know about your organization. Anyways cool site. I hope to get out a little bit more this summer. I have an old 1995 WR250. I am just getting into this dirt biking. Might see some of you around this summer.

Am wanting to sell my WR250. Bought a KTM 400EXC. If anyone knows of someone wanting a good reliable bike that is reasonably priced, let me know.

Wasn't that bike on the podium at CNP? I remember it going past me about 1/2 way.

Maybe a little too fast. That bike never finished a Hare Scramble last year, but Lloyd had some cool injuries to impress the ladies with :cripple: .

I was trying to be nice and say something positive, but I believe the HS races were a bit of an issue.

You are correct. It does have the bore kit on it. He is a really good rider. I am trying to learn every time I go out with him, as well as in the garage. I have known him for a long time. He even used to work for me.

Yes, I have known Ron and Lloyd for awhile as well. They used to come out to my brother in laws acreage in the Waiporus to camp, and of course go riding . Don't see them a whole lot these days, now that there racing.

Yeah, Lloyd is a wild rider, but he has blue roots. He was pretty fast on his old WR. He only got faster on that EX/C.
