New to RMDRA and new to Dirt Biking

Post by Drambuie »

Hey All,

Thought I'd formally say hello to the forum.

I've cruised the forum occasionally looking for local trail information etc. and have decided I need to be a more productive part of the group.

Purchased a used 2000 Yamaha WR400F in June and spent much of the summer bringing it back to life. Finally got everything running well in August and christened it with a trip to Moab, Utah! I tell ya, that was one heck of a way to introduce myself to offroad motorcycles.

Hope to meet many of you in person. See y'all on the trails.

Cheers,

Jason

Welcome to the club! We sure appreciate our volunteers and club members. The best way to get better at riding is to get involved and meet some folks that are happy to help teach a trick or two. <they are usually helping at our events and typically share the most with the guys that help the most>...

I second that! My riding skills have increased 200% since joining the club and volunteering, met tons of cool people to ride with and learn from.
Welcome to the club

...Tim is this why you won't ride with me anymore....

Welcome to the club Jason, put some studded tires on that bike and let the riding continue, otherwise see you in the spring!

I would assume it has more to do with your pace...

(by which I mean you are getting faster, of course. :D)

Welcome to the club, Jason!

Wednesday night Club Nights are the best way to connect with folks who like to ride the same things you do, and grow your riding buddy network immensely... and thus ride more!

This forum is also a great place to get help with ANY question or problem you have. In the spirit of advice columnists everywhere, there may be humour at other's expense, but there are no dumb questions and lots of great knowledge out there waiting to be tapped. Don't be shy!

Looking forward to riding with you soon!
