Oh! And helmet must be Snell 2010, which makes me a no-go having a Bell Moto8 (Snell 2005)
I have never seen them check a helmet, my helmet (Suomy) also has no Snell rating, I think if you have a functioning helmet that isnt duct taped together you will be fine.

I searched google and found it was 2005, but a friend who has a moto8 said his is 2010....

I'll check when I get home, but thanks. Just incase something happened I'd sooner had the proper rating if possible.

The CMA also approves the Euro ECE standard, so your Suomy ( Mr Jump model ? ) is good to go. Suomy hides the label under the padding on the chin strap - pull it way back and you will find it sewn to the strap.
@ Joe, forget about Sportsman, your way to fast for that class. If you want an easy ride sign up in Novice as they along with CMA Ladies & Vets ( guessing Mini Senior as well ) are racing a shorter/easier loop.
If you want a much more challenging course sign up Int. This loop is for Pro, Expert, Vet Expert, Super Vet, Int. Rumor as it it has some very old school Moose Mountain XC race course in it thats been nuked for years thats been opened back up.
Probably no big greasy logs or wet roots on it either :smirk:

Can anyone clarify where we actually need to be for the race? At the campground or down at the river by the bridge?

Thanks

The rain today was pretty nasty. I heard it was worse to the NW of Calgary.

Thanks for the heads up. We'll maybe move our camping trip somewhere a little drier. ...Steve

I am going to try to give it a go. I'll be the guy taking it easy as I just got my blown up bike back on the trail on Wednesday.
