Singletrack fix

Post by thirtyseven »

Ok friends... its well into winter and I know you need a singletrack fix.
pulled up some footage this morning of the Porkies XC just to motivate myself, found this.
In the third hour of this XC I daydream like crazy, ride inconsistently and generally act like a goon.... EVERY year. :crybaby:
However the singletrack is amazing so if you are getting the winter blues, here is 30 mins of singletrack fo ya

4+ hrs. I find the 3rd hr at porkies one of the weirdest experiences. Usually Im alone, alittle dehydrated, tired (its the 1st XC of the year and your hands etc arnt really up to the task.) on top of all that Istart daydreaming about the mountains or how cool porkies singletrack is and how lucky I am to live in alberta.... I ride really inconsistant!!! (oh look, cows!)

Thanks for sharing :applause:

I'm not a die hard racer but that one is so much fun. I can't wait to do it again.
The voices are back. Awesome!

If I can manage to get through Riviere's in one piece this year, I can't wait to do it for the first time!

I think I will give this race a shot this year as my first XC, hopefully my GasGas doesnt run out of fuel (I recall one of the XC's some members posted about a couple of GG's being stranded on course).

The course looks awesome.

Gotcha. You were talking zulu time. :P

You'd better start prepping for hour 4 to 8 if you're going to the ISDE Mr. Smarty pants.
