Re: New racing body for Southern Alberta
My understanding is both ADRA and CMRC are aware. Don't know if they support the change though.

I do not mean to be offensive by any means (mods feel free to remove if need be ) I hate to be "that guy" but this has that stink of meddling parents that are trying to make a series of races that junior can win. The last thing we need is another group making their own rules to suit their own needs.
Re: New racing body for Southern Alberta
for cmrc licence make your cheque payable to amsa, or send us you visa number, I don't think so.

I would hope the ADRA is aware, some of the names on the board are the same as the AMSA.350scott wrote:My understanding is both ADRA and CMRC are aware. Don't know if they support the change though.

I would like to hear some comment from ADRA. Looks like another association doing the same stuff as the ADRA Has the ADRA become disfunctional?

Re: New racing body for Southern Alberta
Sorry for being ignorant, but I only see one name in common across the two boards? they claim an effective date of Oct 20, 2012, yet the ADRA AGM for offroad was held on Oct 27th? did anyone here attend the AGM this year?

Re: New racing body for Southern Alberta
If you go to the ADRA and look at the 2013 license app (like we have done in the past) it doesn't say go to the ABMotosport web site if you live in SOAB. I think I'll just wait and see what happens for a bit.
Re: New racing body for Southern Alberta
I sent an email to ADRA, they said they are aware of this new organization but are not affiliated in anyway. They said they (ADRA) are working on a deal to secure Off Road and Ice Racing going forward....almost implying that its up for grabs?
