Then I rode like a squid in the quals and ended up in the 2-lap LCQ. I nailed the holeshot and then some bumping handlebars left me in the dirt on the first obstacle Did my best to get back on the bike and catch up... I finished 3rd, but only the first place transfered to the main Super fun regardless and I'll do better next year I didn't get the LCQ on camera but will post it if I find someone who did.
Aside from the boulders, Vegas was waaay easier than Boise. Boise had a single-triple-single matrix . In Vegas, they had a normal matrix and put blocks in for the ladies so it was easy.
I have my timed practice for gate pick on video. It's boring. I want to find footage of my LCQ!
There wasnt a single rider the whole weekend including pro's, who didnt get stuck in those rocks. There were even some pro's complaining that the rocks were to hard. Vid does not do justice to how hard they were. There was one qualifier where all 12 riders were stuck. Deb did a great job, you should of seen her in the LCQ, twisted the you no what out of her throttle.
Couldn't help but think of stretch and the other Calgary folks who've been frequenting the Endurocross series when watching this. Mr. BigWheel definitely has some great videos!
haha yeah! stupid everett. don't do your first race-pace at the actual race had armpump so bad i couldn't keep my hands on the bars and spent some time upsidedown
