CMRC and Numbers

Do they really assign all numbers under 100, even for B class racers? Website only lets me choose from numbers 101+ when renewing for 2013. Sorry if this is a silly question.

The deadline to retain your 2012 racing number is Dec. 15/12. After this date, racing numbers will be on a first come, first served basis. All numbers that were used in 2012 are held until this date so those who used the number this year have the first chance to have that number again next year. I seem to remember the numbers becoming available around Christmas last year.

Ahh makes sense.

I was able to secure a 2 digit number that was unassigned in 2012.
