Twisted Sprocket H/S

Post by thirtyseven »

A great course with THE BEST enduroX track I have yet riden... Every obstacle required different techniques and rhythms... This seemingly easy one bested me every lap... never did clean it.

I will put some lap highlights together soon.

Looks like they had quite the endurocross course up there. How was the turn out? Super bummed I missed the last two races altogether.

The EndurpX was really well designed and built. I managed to do each obstacle to my satisfaction at least once during the race except the one in the vid... Looked like the easiest one but was the toughest

That is a perfect shot of an almost perfect park job!

On a scale of 1 to 10 when it came to fun, the Twisted Sprocket gets at least a 15. I loved every minute of that race, even though I struggled every second I was in that EX section. I only managed one lap. By the time I actually made it to the tent my GasGas was not in any shape to continue (much like the pilot  ).

I had an amazing time in my first year of racing. I am super excited for next season, and sincerely hope that both Riviere's Revenge and the Twisted Sprocket will be in the mix for 2013. Seems that even though I absolutely suck at Endurocross, I love the challenge and the carnage that it brings! :smirk:

Not a real 2nd when there are only two guys racing!

I'll take it though since there is no way I will be getting anywhere close to that in 30B next year!

It's too bad you couldn't make the trek up. You would have enjoyed the race for sure. Maybe you could have kept Travis in your sights. I kept him in mine for all of about ten seconds.

Oh ya more speed would have got me nice bruises across the thighs.... Saw a lot of heads on front fenders on that one. And legs in the air.
