Re: 2012 Schedule
Sept.30 Grand Prairie How far is that drive? I've never been up that far. Is it brushy and sandy or rock and forest in general? Just thinking of Vega and Smith for the sandy.

8 hours and I would think a blend of all your descriptors based on the view of the topography from when I used to fly there almost every day.dirtyboy wrote:Sept.30 Grand Prairie How far is that drive? I'm looking good for at least 6 races...which is what I did this year.
Vega and Dirty Moose fall on my holidays.

Plan on making some of these races.....any insight on the register process? License? I turn 40 on May so does that qualify me for the 40B division? Holy sludge I'm turning 40!

as soon as you turn 40, you are eligible. i believe the adra site sells cmrc race licenses for less than the cmrc site, unless that has changedprimerib72 wrote:Plan on making some of these races.....any insight on the register process? as far as registering, you do it a.m. of the race.
Re: 2012 Schedule
Great news! Come racing...you'll never turn back. I've ridden with you (fallen timber sept 2010) Enter 40B...you should finish in ahead of me if speed is the difference, maybe not if race experience counts for anything.primerib72 wrote:Plan on making some of these races.....any insight on the register process? Don't fret about the registration process. Simple. You can buy a day license at the race for $40 the day of. Just be there!

Welcome to the race crew! You'll be a good addition to the mix.primerib72 wrote:Thank you gentlemen....that was easy enough. I really am looking forward to this and hope to make as many as possible.
Re: 2012 Schedule
You'll want a full season license then. You can buy that from the ADRA site anytime if you're itching to get your hands on it, CMRC's site, or at the race like a lot of us buy at our first race of the year. I think it's $130. The ADRA ladies that sell the licenses at the race are really good. In the past they have sold racers day licenses at each race $40 first race, $40 second race, then your third race they'll sell you a seasons license for the remaining $50. I always buy the full season license at my first race, which will be Riviere's Revenge in 2012. Are you racing on that yz450?primerib72 wrote:Thank you gentlemen....that was easy enough.
