Great videos, thanks for taking the time to edit it. I LMFAO when you had the slow song come in at the bottleneck in your "moments" video. Was that Air Supply?

Great race, Challenging course. I don't think I ever cleaned a lap. I don't know what the best part was, crashing off the tires, tweaking a rad, or getting clipped by a pro on my final lap and having to stop and do up my boot, because every buckle was undone!

Can't wait for the next one!

Thanks AJRJ, it certainly takes time... Had one all set up with the bottleneck as a kind of dreamsequence with shots of Jason Schrage, my tire effort and a cool one (to me) jumping off the bank and tearing across the creek bed, all overlaid over the bottleneck. Hit a couple wrong buttons and poof all gone! Bummed

Wow Howard, you make it look easy. Although I'm not near as fast as the rest of you, I would love to run a few races this year (now here comes the excuse). Problem is that I hurt my knee last year so I'm riding a little scared. Can anyone recommend a good (a preferably cheap) knee brace that will keep the knee from twisting?

When are you going to add the dry commentary, like those guys from AK? Not that we mind hearing you coach other riders :D

Mr meierk!!!! you've come out of hibernation! Knees are tricky I'm not sure there are any braces that will keep the knee from twisting, popping out etc yes. Mostly the only cure is surgery therapy and time (which some of us have I'n very short supply).

AJRJ I spend so much time trying to edit out the inane blabbering that is usually directed at my riding buddies, there is very little chance I will add commentary to a good piece of riding footage! Good catch on the music while I was at the bottleneck... Actually it's The Cars. "Drive". A bit of a dig at those I'n front, my travel companion, and Hendrix13 who has issues behind the wheel of any motor vehicle.

Hey Howard - thanks buddy. That was fantastic. Wow. I liked the passes through the cutblock at about 6:10!

I think watching that is the closest I have been to true happiness in a long time... "Two Thumbs Up".

Sweet Video. you will however notice at approx 3:21 you blow past the right hand turn ribbons that would have kept you off that nearly impassible hill. I almost made the same mistake as you but due to great fortune of blowing a previous corner, I settled in behind mr Bauer and he led me down the garden path that was a sweet flowy trail past all the muck and mayhem of the particular hill.

The course was in great shape, I even wound up eating some dust on lap 2. I was in great shape after lap 1, had a really bad pit (i need to be better prepared...) then started feeling the effects of a stomach bug on lap 2 that forced me to pull over a few times and be ill. I wound up chasing Bob Reed for a while on lap 2 and even he blew the ribbon twice (at which time I decided to quit following him) I was in and showered by the time the rain started, but did get the joy of watching Hendrix13 make his way into the pits in the pouring rain/hail with a huge grin on his face and a destroyed jersey.

Well Dobi thanks for pointing out how old and blind I'm getting! One of many blue ribbons that magically appeared after I blew by them... Guess my front fender no longer has an affinity for the color. :D

Thanks 37, now everyone knows I'm not working, 'cause there is no reason to laugh at work when you're alone. If you had gotten to the hill that wasn't part of the course 2 minutes earlier you would't have picked that line because I would have been exactly where you stopped. And I mean exactly. First time I've had the lead and I kissed it goodbye, never to be seen again, on a stupid hill that wasn't even part of the course. :crybaby:
