Yamaha finally stepped up there YZ 450 I might have to trade off my WR for the yellow 5spd YZ 450

YZ 450

Kawasaki also finally came out with a 450 and looks like they dropped the 125.

KX 450

I was looking at the new Yamaha's on their web site today. I think you should go for the 5sp YZ450. With the Rekluse clutch you won't have to worry about starting it too often. Would you pay the extra $200 for the Yellow plastic? I like the yellow, but I'd be inclinded to buy Acerbis Yellow plastic and save the blue stuff for selling it. Who cares what the bike looks like in the bush?

I like the shrouds over the gas tank. ;)

I'll be waiting for the electric start version. Can you believe 206 lbs for the YZ250F?

That’s what I was thinking of doing is getting the YZ and putting the rekluse in. Now that I have one in my WR I just never have to start it so why pack around that extra 15lbs. The yellow one would probably be too much bling. I would have it all scratched up in one ride. The only thing I am worried about is none of my parts fitting and the small gas tank, how long will it take some one to make a bigger one.

How small is the gas tank? My tank is only 8 litres now and I know I have the small motor but it goes over 80km without hitting reserve. :blah:

I am not to sure but I know it wont be too big probably around 7 liters. I was more worried about it for ice racing.
