Thanks for posting dirtgirl. Just updated the main page......

At least they are giving warning early as possible. It's so much better to know in advance. I don't think any of us wanted to do the water crossings required when the banks are swelling

June 8, 2005 Update - Clint Riviere just called to say that the June 11/12 Riviere's Revenge Hare Scramble is now on as scheduled. He said we was building bridges over the water crossings. See Alberta Dirt Riders for more information.

Judging by the pictures on the news he should be building ferries not bridges

At least dust won't be a problem. See you all there. :D

Tom, take hwy 2 south, then #3 west to Pincher Creek, head south through Pincher to the shell gas plant road, keep going till you see the Reveire's construction company, go about 1/4mile past that and that is usually where they stage it out of but this year might be different. See the Alberta Dirt Riders page for a poster!!

I know. I should have called Clint last night but I got lazy. It must be pretty muddy out there even if there are bridges over the water crossings. You can probably tell that I'm a bit skeptical by the way I posted the information on the main page.

Stay tuned folks. We'll get it sorted out.

Any word on how the camping conditions are? I may be tempted not to haul the trailer down but stay at a motel instead.

:excuse:
If they are going to have you camp in the same place as last year--it is probably under feet of water!! Might have to call Clint/Connie and see where they are going to have everyone camp.

I'm thinking of just going down on Sunday. I think the camping might be an issue. :excuse:

I'll be there to race but I have made the executive decision to leave the RV at home for the weekend. I am just going to drive down Sunday.
