Streams are testing good today. No guarantees but it's looking good.

I was successful watching a low resolution stream on an Android TV box. It wasn't close to HD but it was watchable and the stream was stable. I'm not a tech guru so I'll just post my setup if it helps anyone. I'm not sure of what's important but others here may be more technically knowledgeable.

I used the following:
WETEK Hub ($130 from Bestbuy)
15 Mbps service from Shaw
wired connection

The software was an addon inside Kodi called 'Made in Canada'. The website 'koditips.com' has instructions on how to install it. I also viewed random Youtube demos to help figure out how to install these. Made in Canada also needs something called 'F4MTester'. The instructions on koditips mention how to install this addon, too.

There are a variety of articles on live sports at koditips. Many of them point to a variety of Kodi addons. I had also tried SportsDevil addon but none of the FS1 or event streams worked for me within that addon. I had all but given up on SportsDevil when I tried the MadeInCanada addon.

I noticed reference to Mobdro (remembering dirtyboy's mention of it) within MadeInCanada and there was a stable (low resolution) stream for FS1 in there.

I would be much happier to simply pay Shaw, Telus, Bell, Rogers to watch this channel. Farting around with technology is something I'd rather not do. I'd rather 'turn it on.' If its got a power cord that I can plug in and then turn the darn thing on, I'm happy.

Koditips mentions using a VPNVanish tool which may make it possible to watch a better (HD?) stream but I doubt if I'll be bothered enough to try that. Maybe my service is too slow?

Anyway, good luck!

Sent the KTM crew down and a few others to the Unicorn. Very good stream, great food and the beer was ice cold so they had a great evening.
Thanks Bob for all the effort of making A1 happen.

I had no luck with my android box on Saturday. FS1 was working great until around 4 and then it froze. I found a few crappy feeds during the race but gave up. I ignored social media until this afternoon and watched it in HD online. I guess I'll hope for the best for this weekend.

I hope Shaw picks up the channel. I'd even be willing to pay $10 a week to watch on PPV if they could make that an option.

If you don't want to spend much, you can get a Raspberry Pi. Maybe it is not for the faint of heart (i.e. Might not hurt to be a little technical).

Just picked up a Raspberry Pi 3 Model B starter kit for $75 at Memory Express. You'll need a USB mouse (required) and keyboard (optional) you may have sitting around though. It came with Kodi built in (but the add-ons with these streams will not be there by default). Google will find all the info to set up(with YouTube videos). Hint: search for how to add a reference so you can see the Fusion add-ons.

I did find a low quality FS1 feed after about 10 mins. Will report back on where I can find something better.

Cheers,
Rod

174ktm is me, did well last weekend. Too bad about Trey Canard was a DNS and Dean Wilson's reverse holeshot (last place to the first corner).
