Really enjoyed this race. Probably had the worst luck in getting caught in others issues... but I caused my own too!
This is lap one. I started cautiously because my knee was causing a great deal of pain.
Cycleworks Calgary bike worked awesome though.
Wish the gopro lasted longer. I have never had so many people fall on me, crash in front of me etc as there was on lap 3 and 4!

Awesome! That was a fun race. Looks like the only section they took out for the b loop was that uphill with all the mountain bike ramps, which was obviously a pretty gnarly section!

Congrats on the podium 37 :applause:

Great Vid Three Seven  Cool event, CMA set a record at 272 riders for the Saturday classes  Camera does not show how slick and steep some of that terrain is. Catching some of the classes in front of us was sheer mayhem with the bottle necks.

Great work! Is that place open for riding regularly or just for the race?

Josh, there are several other sections the B loop skipped. A few of the places I noted (there might be more) the B loop skipped on Howard's video:
-the B loop went straight and skipped the bottleneck at the 8:00 minute mark and re-joined at 11:00 (I think)
-the left turn up the hill at 24:35, the B loop went straight on the road and re-joined the at 29:10
-at 35:10 the B loop followed the road till 36:30

While sweeping I got to ride both A and B loops, and kudos to the guys setting the course as I thought they did a great job changing the course. They lightened the course just enough from A to B to make it enjoyable for the B riders while still maintaining a good challenge. And they made the changes quickly.

Oh ok. I knew for sure we didn't do that one with the ramps.

Great to see 3 long time RMDRA members taking up podium space.
@ Three seven, Are Gerry and I simply lacking podium swag or is your back all jacked up from Huck-a-buck with all the mega braking bumps on every downhill ?

Na... I got permanently disfigured by the stench of my roommates. Curled up in the fetal position all night in a room with old men farting and stumbling to the washroom at odd hours.
