I remember he had trouble with that fuel quick connect on a ride we went on together. It must have been compromised somehow. It sucks to have a mechanical.

What were the CO's hassling the riders about? They seem to be out in full force this year, and as mentioned not exactly going after the right people or enforcing and worth while regulations.

It's a great way to organize themselves.
A specific date, specific target, pro backcountry people. Big bang for the buck on paper.

I think our races garner a lot of attention from the wilderness protection crowd. It's not warranted since the races are carefully routed, controlled and limited to sustainable trails, but no doubt it is attention grabbing for them to witness 200+ evil dirtbikers amassing all at once.

I suspect the CO's are just responding to that pressure. Frankly I'm ok with them being there. They don't seem to be hassling us too bad, just making an appearance so they aren't critiqued later for letting us race unsupervised.

Really? I hope not. I don't think anyone knew the BC races were part of the series.

Ugggg, that looked like a tough one Im sure the camera isn't doing justice to some of those hills.

On another note.....how much drugs do you take before you pick the music or rather "sound-scapes" for your vids?? :applause:

That muskeg field cost me 10 minutes of being stuck up to my waist time. I considered lighting the bike on fire to get out :crybaby:

I've been trying to pick a theme for each race. I've already done action/adventure, sci-fi, western and comedy (though some of my early efforts were less focused). This race was horror.

I'm running low on categories, so I'm open to suggestions for the next episode. Might be time for a sub-category...

That muskeg was tricky. I made it almost to the end before getting stuck. I was picking my way through carefully and making a bunch of passes until the very last section before getting back onto the quad trail. I should've known better, but I'd already blasted through a couple wet sections by carrying my momentum, so I thought I had it figured.

I thought that was one of the best soundracks, and well timed. Had a good laugh

Great job on the video, looks like a tough race.

Sorry to pirate a thread, but can anyone tell me where the better ridge trails are in the area, I've see some nice looking ones on the shale shaker videos. I'm going to be in the general area in a couple of weeks, and don't know where the good single track ridge trails are.
