MonkeyWrench 2015
Had a great weekend out in Lytton with Dirtyboy. Meet a lot of great people who happen to like dirtbikes.
I have wanted to do this race for a long time and really enjoyed it, although I suffered during it. Started mid pack and slowly made my way up to a pass for second (Im pretty sure) you will see at the 21:30 ish mark I get his bar in my thigh and get knocked of my bike. It hurt like a bugger and effected me the rest of the race. I also lost a bunch of positions. made my way back up but gave up atleast 3 places at the end of the race. Not my finest mental effort, but it was HOT (40 in Lytton). a great downhill about 47:17. This is the Senior Expert Class.

only watched the highlights you've mentioned so far, but holy smokes, your arms must have felt like jello after that down hill.

That heat must of been a killer.
Re: MonkeyWrench 2015
The dust was unreal!
Had a decent ride on Saturday but took a beating in the process. Went off course half a dozen times due to basically riding blind.
Sunday started out great! Rode well up until the drop from the summit of the 'B' loop. Lost all feeling in my arms and legs and subsequently turned into an orange pylon for the remainder of the lap.
Not sure what the deal was on Saturday, but I came across three airbox covers laying on the trail throughout the course. Two KTM and one Beta. Dude that lost the Beta cover offered to buy mine.
All in all a great time! Improved on my results from last year in both races.

Dusty and hot! Saturday after the race in the town of Lytton it was 42 degrees, felt like standing in an oven.

TwoTired nice holeshot! You had some clean air for a few minutes. The B downhill video was like 15 minutes. Looks kinda boring. I guess I was ahead of the carnage.
Highlight vid to come.

Excellent music selection and production value. I've been trying to brainstorm a theme for my Shale Shaker video and I now wish I'd thought of some classic music accompaniment.

Haha A stick got caught in the back tire and when I tried to get it out, the bike got away from me and you can see the stick come out from the right side when I drop it.cerealkiller wrote:What was going on at ~7:30?
