Cool video. Brutal hot day though! After the first moto I was worried I had heat stroke.

Ya man That first moto was brutal. I finished it but I had nothing left for the second one. I really enjoyed the event and will be back next year. I hope is not as hot next year though.

great race. I was however disappointed in the timeliness of the event. The waiting on the line for what seemed like an eternity wasn't fair for the spectators or the riders. I waited until 7:30 to see results and awards and finally gave up and went back to the lake with the family.

I really don't know anything about how the time results get processed from the scanners. If it goes into a spreadsheet or a formatted text file, I am quite handy with writing tools or extension to manipulate data into reports. Just putting that out there, I can maybe help streamline the effort with a excel extension or something like that to strweeamline or automate any of the manual efforts to prepare the results.

Editing the video footage from last weekend's race may have take awhile, but hopefully the sci-fi theme was worth the wait:

Great video Jared! Was the line that the guy took to the left in the mounds ligit? I never even saw that during the race.

I blew by that same corner as you on the first lap. My helmet cam had a lump of mud on it blocking the view during the first moto.

I was hoping it wouldn't be missed. My footage from that race seems to be missing after my wife borrowed my camera to film a skunk in our backyard... :crybaby:

I think it may have been legit, I don't recall any yellow markers in the dirt piles. The line the junior rider took before his big get-off was definitely not part of the course.

That was strange...how did that other rider end up holding his bike like that?
It almost looked like the junior had to run in the bush for a bathroom break. "Hey dude, hold my bike?" :smirk:

Folks I'm heading down to the Shane Watts Dirtwise that is taking place at Rivieres, how long should I give myself to drive from South end of Calgary? Thanks.
