Is my helmet Snell-y enough

I see on the CMA and SGC websites that all helmets must be Snell 2010 and on SGC they go so far as to say that you must have this sticker

My Fox V2 says it is Snell approved but does not show the sticker like SGC asks for and it does not mention 2010. Will I need to go helmet shopping for something Snell-ier?

I've never seen this checked or enforced. Of course I've never seen anybody show up in a 70's open face metal flake helmet either (I used to have a Maple leaf one....).

I am under the impression this rule is in place to protect people from themselves, who may show up and try to ride without proper safety gear. A Fox V2 is a nice hemet, you'll have no issues.

The label is typically inside the helmet, not on the outside. You may need remove the liner, etc.

Sometimes we do check, you just never know when!
I'll also take this moment to remind you that anything older that 5 years has probably degraded anyways... and your brain is the one thing you don't want to compromise on.... (what im saying is those rules are there for a reason!)
There is a tag on the inside of the helmet as Bark mentioned, or if you are having trouble finding it and you send me a photo of the graphic on the helemt, I can verify the Snell rating through Fox! Takes like 2 seconds and it would be a shame to drive all the way to an event and be turned away!

Thanks Everyone,

I found the sticker inside like Bark said.
