CMA RD4 - Marble Mountain XC - Rocky Mountain House

Anyone here attending this race? I am going to give it a shot. I have never raced a SGC/CMA event before but have heard good things about them.

Feel like I have to do another race or two since I have established a new record of finishing two XC's in a row without smashing my bike into oblivion.

Have to say, that was an awesome race! The hill climbs on the 'A' loop seemed endless! I managed to clean all of them aside from one that I had to take a second crack at.

That might have been the best I have ridden all year. Big thanks to all involved in putting that event on!

Great job by the RMH club, had an old school XC flavor to it in places, the spines were cool and the monster hill climbs.

I had to drive my RV to rocky mountain house for warranty work yesterday and I must admit seeing all the bikes and trailers on the way back to Calgary made me miss racing. I may have to dust the spurs off and get back on the horse next year.

You passed me right around the 5:20 mark. My arms were so pumped up I couldn't feel my hands.

I didn't find my rhythm until about 5km into the 'A' loop. For whatever reason I always gas right after the start. Takes me a while to recover.
