If he didn't already do enough, ThirtySeven asked that I posted this video he made.

Well just a quick wrap up to this years race. I'd like to thank everyone who showed up to race and spectate, in spite of less than perfect events in the past. This year we started out with a whole new focus and a team of volunteers, who IMO made the race a resounding success.

Its hard to get specific thanking people (and I already did in another thread) but there are a few unsung heroes out there, including Hendrix13 himself, and Cberg77 who put in a ton of hours and personal time, all of which is required to get the final package you saw.

As some of you may have heard, we did have one injury on the course Saturday. An unlucky, but very nice guy drove all the way up from Montana to try our race , but broke both bones in his left lower leg just above the boot only about 1.5km in. The guy was an absolute ironman. We got him back to his truck and he ended up driving himself to the hospital, with a volunteer (thanks Brad!) in tow. He waited for surgery on Sunday for 7 pins and 2 plates, his knee brace had saved a catastrophic ligament injury. He vows to be back next year, with some friends. We dropped off his t-shirt at the hospital on Monday, and he was headed home with a smile.

We had some goals at the beginning of the season for what we anted to accomplish this year, and I feel that they were met. Thanks again to all who contributed, by volunteering on course building days, race day, or showing up to race.

A huge thanks to the Race Committee: Jamie, Mike, Scott, Howard, Jon and Robert.

There are already some ideas for next years event to make it meet our new standard of fun, trail flagging and difficulty level.

Thanks, GJ.

Any work to de-flag the Dirty Moose this weekend? I'd love to help. A warning tho that I'm a shade slow!

Cheers,
Aaron

I would certainly appreciate it if people could get out there. I don't have the required brownie points to be able to make it this weekend myself. If you could put together a couple of people, that would be awesome.

Please pm for details if you're heading out.
