It was a lot of fun, glad we did not have to race first. My bike came back clean

Ya, that was super fun, even thou Tim beat me

What an awesome place to ride! My kids also raced yesterday and had an absolutle blast, the SGC goes to great lengths to ensure the kids have a good experience, although two days in the sun I am a little toasty!!

That's probably the only race we'll see where the truck is dirtier then the bike.

Agreed. First two laps were a bit sketchy, although somehow my fastest lap was the 2nd one.
The instant score board sure is a game changer, no longer do you have to guess how far ahead the guy is......leaving the check point and knowing the guy is only 20 seconds ahead of you sure puts a twist on the way you ride that is for sure! :applause:

Yeah I really liked the instant scoring as well ... from my first to my last round I was marked as in 5th place ... to end up 6th on the scorecard that was displayed on the trailer ... to end up 8th in the published results ...
so yeah: needless to say I like the deadly accuracy of the instant scoring better :applause:

Still achieved all my personal goals: finish the race, try not to crash to hard, don't end up last and HAVE A FREAKING BLAST !!!

Nice turnout of RMDRA members. Great holeshot Dirtyboy  With the start I had my wife thought I was making a sandwich on the starting line. :smirk:

They posted the results on Facebook.

I'd like to thank Tim, Alyssa and Mike for the support and encouragement. It made my first racing experience much less nerve wracking and more enjoyable.

I'd like to see the total elapsed time on the instant scoreboard as well.
I totally thought that I had another 30 minutes when they said we were done.
Guess I should have started the timer on my bike.

Man, your wife can ride Boland, Mike was just staring with lust in his eyes....not after your wife...but with the speed she carried through the whoops.

Thank you for the compliment  I guess it was one of the few times my bike was appropriate for the terrain. So mx tracks and kook haha

Thanks to Alyssa and Tim AND Mike for the pep talks haha I dont think I was nervous at all once we got in line, I had it in my head that I was just going to ride normally.
....then the guy dropped the flag haha

Nice Brian, now I have to outrun Josh. Seriously though, everyone was so determined to ride there best. It was a great representation for the RMDRA. I have never seen anyone of us do group yoga before the race  . Now Krissy looked like she was kicking a$$ and taking names. :nworthy:
