Indoor Endurocross

Post by rocky mountain racer »

Hi everyone. The Lethbridge Motorcycle Club is kicking around the idea of putting on an endurocross in late January. We are wondering if there would be any support for such an event in the form of spectatorship and actual participation in the event? thanks John.

Are you thinking the same racers that would usually race CMRC/CMA races in Alberta?

If this happens I vote no trials bikes (unless there is a trials class) and no trials tires (like the US series).

What license would be required?

Also, which level of rider are the obstacles aimed at?

This would be a CMRC sactioned event. Hope to draw Alberta riders. The course would be designed so all skill levels could compete, with easy outs to be used for the lower classes. :applause: I think the classes would be based on the same format that we used for the outdoor endurocrosses.
The use of trials tires and bikes would have to be all worked out.
 Just trying to see if there is any interest in such an event.

I would be into that for sure! Plus I am sure I could round up at least 5 -10 other Calgary area pros to attend (especially during winter where riding on dirt would be mega!).

Later,
Shane

I want air cooled and indestructible. The DRZ would be perfect. And besides, Zook already has 24psi in the tubes to handle those hard hits :applause:

Awesome, I'm in for sure. what's the date? (I'm gone the first 2 weeks in January). who cares about the tire selection. I have an 18" Michelin trials tire for sale, brand new $100...it's the good one.
