Ditto! It says at the Coleman ice rink but I am wondering if it is possible to bring my trailer out there Wednesday?

Accommodation & Paddock update for Blairmore, AB

The event will be based at the Crowsnest Center, a convention center near town. If you have not booked a place to stay yet this is the place to call. They have about 30 rooms and some camping available at very attractive rates. Single rooms are $65+tax and double rooms $70+tax. These are very basic rooms and do not have TVs but there is a common room with TV and Internet hook ups.

Campsites in the parking area with power (no water) are $20 per night and tent sites on the grass (no power or water) $10 per night. For campers there is an outside tap at the building to get water and indoors there are washrooms available but no showers. If you want to book a room or site please call Dawn at 403-562-7314

What is the course and terrain usually like there,i haven't rode down there before but thinking about giving the amateur class a shot looks like a great race.

sorry to rain on your parade, but your posted info above is entirely incorrect. The old website must be open and this info pertains to the initial info for the 09 CEC. :crybaby:

Staging and the pits will be in the Coleman Curling rink, 3 blocks north of Hwy 3 on the 940 and then east, to the edge of the hill. Fully paved parking lot with an adjacent dirt lot for tenting.

www.cpcec.ca is the site for the 2010 event.

We will be sound testing every motorcycle and headlight and tail light will be required, so do not hesitate and arrive and prepare early for tech inspection which should be open late afternoon Friday, adn open for a short time Saturday morning. Friday is your best bet to tech, as waiting for a problem to be discovered Saturday may slow your day of riding.

space is tight, if we get the number of riders that seem to be interested, so we'll have to park tightly...Euro style, with trailers inches apart

Bob and Clint have been working on teh course the past couple weekends and some this week. The route is epic Crowsnest single track, cleaned for your enjoyment and some cool tests.

can't wait

Just got an email from Bob saying that the Bs will be doing two laps of 50km, unlike last year when we only got to do one. :applause: :applause:

Woohoo! Just wait until you get done doing/racing 400km of singletrack with only 5 days of rest. The 200k in 2 days really wore me out last year..
