I just Checked results & shows no Junior with a #19! (yay)
Rules say Red on White is Junior so I should be good! (Im black on white right now, and cant grow a beard, so no vet junior for me!)

Ill just see if i can find some Red Numbers to overlap the ones I have!

Off to the bikeshop to buy a toolbelt, goggles, gloves (barbed wire took my last fav pair), front tire!

Cheers, cant wait to race porkies!!!! (working on getting helmet camera going!!!)

Wow what a race! The 1st 50km truly was a test!!

The 2nd loop moreso for myself! My front forks got air-lock and i had 1-2inches maybe for the 2nd fast 50km section! Hellooo armpump & blisters!!

Huge thanks to the junior who lent me his goggles and gassed me up going into the 2nd loop, he said he didnt make it up the KTM Geyser (my nickname for the nice icy hill, those of you there know what im talking about :D,) and could not continue, big props to your sportsmanship!!

cant wait to race it next year!

It really was a fun race. I was running top 10 in Junior for sure, passed a bunch of juniors and vets and was riding great, and then I had a spill right after the KTM geyser Mitch is talking about, and managed to bend the sludge out of my barkbuster and break my front brake lever off, and had to ride the rest of the first loop with only a rear brake...SCARY downhills with the ice, man it was tough. I lost a few positions for sure to a few guys having to walk my bike down hills (or toss it) and made it for the time cut off but had to quit because I couldn't track down a lever in time, sucks, bad luck screwed me out of the 2nd loop  . I felt like I had hardly ridden once I was done the first loop, I was choked I couldn't do the next 50, I wasn't hardly tired! Was still a great time and managed a 14th place, I was still happy for my first race in Junior!

Have to give it up for John and the LMC, they put on a great weekend, I will definitely be back next year and for years to come.

A big thanks to John Bader and his crew from Lethbridge Motorcycle Club who put in I'm sure a lot of hours flagging that course (and only after they figured out where to run it!!). The course was terrific - you guys did a great job. And a big thanks to Renee and the registration/timing crew as well - you made it look easy again!

Cheers to all those who helped out, putting on another excellent Porkies XC!

It takes a lot of work and experience to run a race like that. The course was excellent. A little more technical than in years past but still with the successful format of 2 big loops and reasonable difficulty levels.

Thank you.

Awe shucks, thanks.

Actually it was cool that some other attributes were required for the race besides just speed.
