Re: 2018 Supercross

Week three in the books. Didn't have the weekend I was looking for. Tickle didn't do me any favors - and what the heck was wrong with Kenny?

Nice work by Rider Eh! to take over the lead.

Re: 2018 Supercross

I also couldn't seem to log on for awhile. Still clinging to a narrow lead. :D

Re: Midwest Clutch

I ran one on my 2012 350 XCF and still have it kicking around some where. The pull is lighter on my 2016 350 XCF, so I never felt the need for it. It's finicky, but works. Takes awhile to get it perfectly adjusted - you're supposed to have your bike fully warmed up before you do. On my 2012, I eithe...

Re: GoPro evaluations

The new Hero models are big bucks. If it was me, I'm not sure I would care about all the fancy features either (e.g. Quickstories). The size of the session is appealing - not sure they have the battery life to cover a whole race though. What generation is your current camera? I think mine is a Hero ...

What? No mid-season rule changes I say. Might feel that way because I did ok though.

Re: Penny Tech Gear repair

I'm enjoying your additions to the Penny Tech database Malcolm. I usually painstakingly sew my jersey tears back together with needle and thread. I've taken to use contrasting thread to show off my battle scars. The fabric often has a little stretch to it though, and some tears can be tough to get l...

You going to play for money in the pulpmx league? I joined the champions league also.

And the password for the RMDRA league isn't working
Yep. I spent real money to play. I can hardly believe it myself.

Re: 2018 Supercross

Thanks for letting me know. I just fixed it.

Roczen is surprisingly slow after the first practice. My rural internet won't buffer properly so I can't keep an eye on practice like I would prefer.

Re: 2018 Supercross

I signed up for PulpMX. Searched, but didn't find a RMDRA league - so I made one: "RMDRA", password: "imissdungey". I could see Roczen winning A1 - if he gets a good start. Other top-tier riders have gone away with an injury and come right back at the top. Musquin seems to get consistently good star...

Re: Lights for 2 stroke

Ha, don't thank me too much. I didn't actually try any of my "great" suggestions. For curiosity's sake, I checked to see what Bosch has too (I have both Dewalt and Bosch power tools). The design looks easier to strap to your forks with those movable arms, its smaller and has a little higher lumen ra...

Re: Lights for 2 stroke

Just spit-balling a few ideas: 1. I wonder if there's any power tool LED lights that could work. E.g. the DEWALT DCL060 LED worklight produces 1500 lumens and costs ~$100 (cheapest I found online was at IHL for $84). That polisport setup is great and all, but costs $477 from gnarlyparts  and ...

I'm thinking of trying the PulpMX version. I'll probably do RM too since the price is right.

Re: Women’s Bike Suggestions

I'd go for a TTR or CRF 230. TTRs seem to be a little cheaper and more plentiful - around $2000 for a 2007-2012. They have more power than the 140 - which your friend may or may not want - but the delivery is very smooth and friendly. My very first bike (when I was 13) was a 1995 Honda XR200. I rare...
