Re: 08 KTM 200 XC-W Losing Water Into Oil...
Thanks Steve Now I just have to get the kickstarter off. It's ceased on there good, then I can pull that clutch cover (got the gasket already), and Cycle Works has the Shaft Seal in stock that you speak of. For $10.00 I should just replace it. lol Haven't looked at a 200 case for a while now but if...

Re: Help with a new bike
I ride a 05 crf250x and some of the toughest single track trials in MC. A properly jetted crf250 will climb almost any single track hill in MC that a non pro level rider would even consider trying. I usually don't make it up the harder hills in on shot or at all but I can't blame the bike. Gnarly si...

Re: Help with a new bike
A recent issue of Dirt Rider had a comparison b/w the KTM 400, KTM 300 and Berg 390. I have it at home somewhere. The consensus was that for racing, get the 300, for trailriding, the thumpers were preferred. These new style husabergs have got my eye, but not my wallet yet, although I'm cheaper than...

Plate compactor loan or rent
I have been working on a 100' x 4' retaining wall over the last couple of months. First 2 courses (16") are done and the wost is over. I keep renting a small plate compactor I usually end up using less than 2hrs per day but still end up paying daily rental fees. Just thought I would ask if someone h...

Re: Chain replacement
I thought this was a good article on chain wear and how to properly measure your chain. Really important to lube you chain before every ride and use WD40 after each wash. In my opinion rust is the number one cause of accelerated chain wear.
