Re: Steg Pegz

I just use the frame and bodywork on the bike. I'm guessing this is why I only get about 4 rides before I wear through the graphics.

Re: Rear sprocket size

I use the stock gearing on my 250XC for the mountains and everywhere. 13/50 Any lower and 1st gear isn't usable IMO. Some guys use 51 or 52 sprockets but not me.

Re: Logging behind Swany's Ridge

My wife and i tried to do this trail and could kinda follow it along the logging road, Seems like it was a pretty sweet trail. if anything needs to be done let me know and I'm there to help. I also just picked up a sweet compact dewalt chainsaw for clearing some logs/debris if needed. :smirk: The t...

Re: Logging behind Swany's Ridge

I noticed that the trail is literally filled with boulder rocks where it runs below the logging road. The bull dozing rolled all the rocks down and they lay resting in our little trail divot. There is no way to ride the trail with those rocks in it. Trail opportunity? Seems like a good idea. I was ...

Re: Penny Tech - bib mousse longevity

Another technique it so cut out the torn piece of the existing mousse, and restuff with a cut out from an old mouse. The new mousse piece should be about 2" longer than the old piece you removed. http://www.enduro360.com/2015/01/16/products-tested/more-life-from-your-michelin-mousse/ http://www.end...

Re: Rocks and logs tire recommendations?

I've got 4 races and 2 rides on my AT81EX and it has now become my practice tire. Worked good tonight at McLean even though it looks pretty bad. Still has taller knobs than the Shinko 505.

That brake step pedal Dobi suggested looks good and it looks adjustable rearward for smaller feet.

Re: KTM Brake Pedal - 2016 KTM 350XCF

The brake pedals are fragile. There are 3 sizes that fit the newer bikes from KTM. The 2 stroke pedal is the smallest. The 4 stroke pedal is medium sized and the PowerParts pedal is large. I always break the large one. I run the medium one on my 250XC and I seem to be able to avoid breaking it off. ...

Re: 2019 KTM News

Seemed odd that it said the 350 had only 5 gears and then pointed out that no gear ratios were changed. Typo?
