I see that there is a heavy snowfall warning for the Pincher Creek area this weekend. Will it be a repeat of last year with a postponement of Riviere's Revenge until a later, dryer date? Seems Old Man Winter just won't leave!

Re: Course Work for 2014 Dirty Moose, call for volunteers.
I'm in. I work shift work so weekends can be tough to line up, but weekdays are usually easy.

Re: 2014 Racing
I hate to keep beating a dead horse, but the only reference I see on the adult races being moved to Saturday is in the minutes from the 2013 RMDRA AGM. AMSA has their minutes posted but Renee was absent and there is no news regarding the move. Is this confirmed for all rounds? Sorry for sounding imp...

Gripstud #4740 Installation Tool?
I am having a tough time finding an install tool for the 1740 Gripstuds I am installing on the front of my Kawasaki. If anyone here has one I can borrow some time this weekend, I would be very grateful! A good amout of the beverage of your choice will be provided in return for the favour! Thanks! :c...

Re: 2013 race results
Making races "easier" only does two things... makes the lily livered search for another excuse, and makes for more high speed injuries. Believe me, easy slack races have less turn out than epic races. We all have to drive long distances to compete in Alberta.... Who would drive to Grande Prairie to...

Re: Fallen Timber race Aug 17-18
Overall, I thought the loop was great. Well, the 40km or so of it I rode before I punched a hole in my radiator when I got lost. I ended up having to ride the road to the 587 and then back up the 40 to the start. Not my best showing at all. The terrain wasn't as gnarly as Shale Shaker, but was...

Re: play stoopid games...win stoopid prizes
Tony Alessi has always been an idiot and so has Jeff. Never would have expected them to pull a stunt like this though. Hopefully they are both banned from the pits for life.

Re: Shale Shaker
I gassed after the first 14km. Turned into a team race after that. Three of us teamed up and managed to finish in five hours. Picked up a stray 30B rider that ran out of fuel about 5km from the end too. The young intermediate rider with us gave him enough fuel to make it to the finish. I also ...

Wanted: Shock for 1997 - 2007 Kaw KLX300R
Probably a long shot, but if anyone has a shock in decent shape lying around for this machine I will take it off your hands.
Heck, if anyone has, or knows of a basket case machine that is for sale, I'll take that too! I could use the spare parts.

Re: Porky's HS
I'll be there as well. Should be a great race for sure. I believe the loop is around 25km. Being round 2 of the CXCC, the pro class will be stacked! In case I catch you make sure you keep your boots on the pegs   Oh, you'll catch me I am sure. I am still beat up from The Piston Run las...

Re: The Piston Run
Chipmunk is in the Chilliwack area. It is the first round of the western CXCC events that replace the WEC rounds like they had in Vernon and Racehorse last year. There are two in B.C. and two here in Alberta. Porkies Harescramble and the Shale Shaker are rounds 2 and 4. I am headed out there tomorro...

The Piston Run
Just wondering if anyone else besides me is going. Should be a great time if the weather is good. Chipmunk can be a real challenge in the wet.
