I have x-tend (insert joke here) Bcaa powder with electrolytes from the days I was a heavy gym go-er, but I cannot stand flavoured drinks in my camel back.

In theory you should be trying "meal plans" well before the race to see what works for you (where you peak, where your depleted) during your normal rides. Soooo....try carb loading in the morning so that you have a few hours to digest, add some protein source into this (shouldn't be hard for breakfa...

Ha Krissy! I forgot to turn mine on for the HS at the MonkeyWrench. First half hr was nothing but a wall of dust anyway :( Got some great footage of the A loop for the XC though. Any more helmet cam footage for this Porkies Report??? (lame attempt to steer thread back on track.....) I attempted to take some footage! However, forgetting to turn the camera on at the starting line (ok I was distracted, I could of sworn I was going to vomit :thinking: ) only to be clothes-lined...
