Re: PW50 Question
I found a nice set of bent forks while washing the PW50 this weekend. Not sure how or when he did this. The bike hasn’t even had it’s first oil change....

Re: PW50 Question
Dobi, you said your kid came off of an Oset. Did you figure out a way to insure/register the Oset? I was trying yesterday to get insurance, and no luck. I called 3 places (Touchstone, Alpine, Meloche). Got an Oset 20.0 (used), but can't get insurance it seems. Called Blackfoot to confirm, and these...

Re: PW50 on crown land
I run battery powered lights on all my kids bikes. We have been given grief that they need to illuminate an object at 60m, but none of them have ever written a ticket or came back at dark to prove me wrong. We have had FO's tell us that the kids needed to be within sight and hearing distance at all ...

Re: 2018 TX300 questions
I would be running a 38mm Keihin if it were me. Have the 38mm on the 150 and I would say it is appropriately sized. I would worry about killing top end on the >17' 300 with a 36mm. Top end didn't suffer here. That is me in the orange out front.... Keep in mind that the 300's came with 36's for year...

hands down the best skidplate I have ever run. Most of the endurocross guys run them as well as Graham Jarvis. He builds them in the PNW and does ship to Canada.

Re: 2018 TX300 questions
I have run JD kits in the past with good luck, especially when running an SX head
162 main and a 38 pilot. L needle in the 2nd from top position (I can never remember how to label them)
I have gone as low as 158. but it hurts the top end run out at lower elevation and heavy loads.

Re: 2018 TX300 questions
I've got an 18 300XC and love it. I don't run a fan and have never done so on a 2 stroke. Just route the breather to the back of the bike so it doesn't give you a facial  I go back and forth on gearing. I ran a 50 rear in kamloops and noticed that first was really tall compared to the 52 I no...

Re: Linkage Guard.
the old KTM and Acerbis plastic ones didn't last at all. The new TMD one with the integrated linkage guard is holding up well for me now. I have had really good luck with the SX Slideplate one that was on my 16. I feel it has better mounting than the TMD one for durability. It also has a double cove...

Re: Direct Suspension Services - JUST LAUNCHED
Congrats on the new venture Dean. I have been using Ken for a few years now and am always amazed at how well his stuff works. His recent work on my 18 XC is incredible. The confidence he can put into a set of forks is unbelievable. If anyone sees me out on a ride, feel free to ask to ride my bike. Y...
